Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
If you have unanswered questions, you are not alone. We’re in the process of putting together answers to the most common questions we’ve received, and to shed some light on your biggest concerns.
One of the most commonly asked questions is – how different is eSAH from eHCP?
eSAH is a brand new software application, developed to meet significantly different requirements under the new SAH program. Please be aware that eHCP will not be ‘upgraded and rebadged’ as eSAH. From 1 July 2025, providers will have to operate in eSAH to comply with new funding and claiming arrangements. Historical data in eHCP will still be available for a certain period.
The new eSAH has a fresh front-end, a different workflow, and a multitude of new functions to meet the changed requirements and funding classifications, plus add value to your operational efficiency. Major changes include Funding, Budgets and Supplements management, Care Management – Logs and Notes, and Participant Supporters – Representative Category.
New features include a performance and financial dashboard, customisable forms, eSignature option for the service agreement and a public holiday manager section, which has been extremely well received.
For more details, visit the eSAH software page here.

Sandbox Environment for Clients to Explore Software
If you are interested, you’ll be able to explore our software on your own in an isolated sandbox test environment, after you’ve had a demo of the software. We intend to have this available by the end of this week. Setup will be required before you are provided secure access to the sandbox, so please contact Jenny Burley, National Sales Manager for further information: jburley@e-tools.com.au
Migration of data from eHCP to eSAH software
Priority System
Data migration is due to commence by the 2nd week of June. We are requesting for eHCP clients to make contact with our sales team, as a quote and invoice will need to be prepared for your organisation. Upon approval, you will be placed into the queue for data migration. This priority system is necessary to help manage what will be a very extensive and time-consuming process. So reach out ASAP as there isn’t much time. Kindly email Jenny Burley, National Sales Manager, on jburley@e-tools.com.au
Data Mapping
As vast majority the data fields and sections in eHCP will be different in eSAH, we are creating a data mapping document to assist in your setup. It will help you identify, review and determine if changes are required. The aim is to create a cleaner, smoother migration of your client data from eHCP to eSAH. We’ll notify you as soon as this is available.
Training
Due to the volume of changes, training is a crucial step in your transition to eSAH, to ensure continued efficiency and compliance. We have a small window in the leadup to the transition, so please be prepared to set aside time for your staff to undergo training. More information will be available soon.
