The story behind e-Tools Software is simple and meaningful. With a background of over 30 years in aged care management consulting, founder and Managing Director, David Powis, had a rare insight into the challenges of managing an aged care business.

He saw room for change through technology. Combined with his genuine passion for the industry, e-Tools Software was created, with a focus on enhancing efficiencies whilst complying with Department requirements.


e-Tools Software’s pioneer resident agreement software – National e-Tools Resident Agreement (NeRA) – was the first of its kind in Australia and was widely embraced by providers. To date, NeRA is the most widely used aged care software for resident agreement compliance across Australia.


With a proven successful formula, 17 years on, we have applications to support residential care, home care, home support and NDIS providers. Each software application is uniquely developed to help you manage compliance requirements, improve outcomes and maintain financial viability.
