Older Australians deserve quality care that supports their dignity, independence and wellbeing. On International Day of Older Persons, we recognise the importance of creating care experiences that respect individual needs and support people to age well.
It’s also an important time to listen to those delivering care. The Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing is inviting aged care providers and workers to share their experiences of delivering Support at Home. Your feedback can help improve the support and quality of in-home care for older people [health.gov.au]. The survey closes on 14 October 2026.
