PRICE ANALYSIS TOOL FOR HOME CARE PROVIDERS

Are you ready for the 1 July 2019 changes?

By 1 July 2019 home care providers will need to publish their prices in a new standardised home care pricing Schedule on My Aged Care.

This transition to the new pricing structure may be an opportune time to analyse your current pricing policies and determine if you need to change your prices.

The e-Tools Price Analysis Tool is a purpose-designed spreadsheet that enables you to enter key business drivers specific to your business, alongside data prescribed by the new Government guidelines. This allows you to create different scenarios and view potential outcomes, to assist you in making informed decisions on your pricing.

The Price Analysis Tool contains customised fields to assist in your price analysis.

  • Enter your income and expenses assumptions as a basis for your analysis, including: Government and client income; Staffing and operations.
  • Care and Package Management: Itemised breakdown of department services and costing.
  • Business cost: Enter your overheads and include these in your service prices.
  • Set a profit margin by percentage.
  • Budgeted profitability.
  • What-if analysis on: Service mixes for each package level; Break-even.
  • View output in the Government Pricing Schedule format.

The Price Analysis Tool is designed for use by all home care providers, without the need for our software.

  • The current version of the Price Analysis Tool is in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet format. It will be sent directly to you for immediate use, with no installation or setup required. 
  • Designed for use by all home care providers including non-eHCP clients. You do not require eHCP software to run it.
  • This tool can help you work out your prices for the new 1 July 2019 pricing requirement. However,  it can also be used at any time to carry out a price analysis.
